Royal flush
It consists of Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10 all of the same suit and is the highest poker hand.
Straight flush
Any five cards sequence found in the same suit, such as 7,6,5,4,3 of clubs. Another example would be 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of hearts.
Four of a kind
Four cards of the similar value like 10, 10, 10, 10 of Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack etc.
Full house
Three cards of similar rank accompanied by a pair, such as 5,5,5,5 and Queen, Queen.
Flush
Five cards of the same suit, though not in sequence such as King, 5, 9, 2, 7 of hearts.
Straight
Five cards in sequence, but not of the same suit such as 3 of clubs, 4 of clubs, 5 of diamonds, 6 of spades and 7 of diamonds).
Three of a kind Three cards of the same value and two kickers of different ranks, such as Jack, Jack, Jack
Two pair Two separate pairs of similar ranks such as 5,5 King, King.
One pair
Two cards of same rank such as 9,9 or Queen, Queen.
High card In the event, a Poker hand carries none of the above varieties then it is ranked by the highest card in it.
